- How did your journey as a writer begin? What inspired you to start writing?
Author: My journey as a writer began with a longstanding commitment to enhancing learners’ professional skills. Throughout my academic career, I consistently observed that many students, despite possessing strong subject knowledge, faced challenges in articulating their thoughts effectively in English. This gap often limited their academic and professional progress.
Recognizing this need my friend and co-author of the book Ms, Ayushi Rawal inspired me to start writing on English Communication Skills which may help the professionals to sail their career. We both had already worked together on our two earlier books on CBDC so we aspired to create a resource that was comprehensive, structured, and application-oriented, enabling learners to strengthen their communication skills in a manner aligned with contemporary professional requirements.
- What genres, themes, or subjects do you prefer to write about, and why?
Author: I prefer to write primarily in the areas of management, professional communication, language skills, and soft skills development. These subjects resonate with my professional experience as an educator and align with the evolving needs of students and young professionals in today’s competitive world.
- Was there a particular book, author, or incident that influenced your decision to write?
Author: A particularly defining influence came from observing how practical communication training transformed students’ confidence and performance. This realization underscored the need for a resource that could serve as both a guide and a mentor for learners.
- What challenges or obstacles have you faced in your writing journey, and how did you overcome them?
Author: One of the primary challenges I encountered in my writing journey was striking the right balance between academic rigor and practical applicability. Communication, as a subject, can be approached from various theoretical perspectives, but I wanted the book to remain accessible and useful to learners from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. Achieving this balance required extensive research, continuous refinement, and feedback from both students and educators.
- Can you recall a memorable moment or incident related to your writing that deeply impacted you?
Author: One of the most memorable moments in my writing journey occurred shortly after the publication of “English Communication: A Gateway to Professional Success.” I received a message from a former student who shared how the book had not only helped him enhance his language proficiency but also boosted his confidence during the presentations.
This feedback was gratifying to see that the effort invested in structuring the content and providing real-world examples had a tangible effect on a learner’s personal and professional growth.
- What message, thought, or emotion do you try to convey through your books or poems?
Author: Through my writing, I aspire to convey the belief that communication is far more than a skill, it is a bridge that connects ideas, hearts, and opportunities. I want readers to realize that the ability to express themselves clearly and confidently can transform not only their academic or professional journey but also the way they engage with the world around them.
- Which of your writings is closest to your heart, and why?
Author: Among my writings, “English Communication: A Gateway to Professional Success”is undoubtedly the one closest to my heart. This book represents not just years of academic experience but also a deep commitment to helping learners overcome their fears and limitations in communication.
What makes it especially meaningful to me is the fact that it was written with a clear purpose, to bridge the gap between knowledge and expression, enabling students to find their voice with clarity and confidence. Seeing the book empower learners in classrooms, job interviews, and professional environments has been both humbling and rewarding.
- If you had to describe your identity as a writer in one line or belief, what would it be?
Author: Through my writing, I seek to bridge hearts and minds, showing that words, when guided with clarity, can open doors to opportunity and growth.
- How do you see yourself evolving as a writer in the future? Are there any upcoming projects or genres you wish to explore?
Author: Looking ahead, I see myself evolving as a writer by continuously adapting to the changing needs of learners and the professional world. My aim is to create resources that are not only educational but also practical, engaging, and aligned with contemporary corporate challenges. As for as upcoming projects are concerned, Ms. Ayushi Rawal, my co-author and I have some terrific plans to cater our learners to cruise the voyage of their career.
- What advice or message would you like to give to aspiring writers or readers?
Author: For writers, I would emphasize the importance of discipline, patience, and continual learning. Every experience, observation, and challenge can become a source of insight and creativity. Do not be afraid to revise, experiment, or take risks in your writing, growth often comes through perseverance and reflection.
For readers, I would encourage an attitude of active engagement, read not just to absorb information, but to question, reflect, and apply what you learn. Reading widely and thoughtfully will sharpen your mind, broaden your perspective, and empower you to communicate more effectively.
“Writing and reading are journeys of growth; embrace them with patience, purpose, and passion, and you will find your voice and vision.”
